Our new dining room is ready

At the beginning of April we started to build a new dining room attached to the 21 bedroom hotel wing. The construction will include two dining rooms along with kitchen, laundry room and employee facilities. We opened one of the dining room temporary and finish it before the Christmas buffets, along with the reception.

Here is possible to see when the walls were put in place.

Conference about Vatnajokull National Park

At the 23rd of January there was in Egilsstadir conference about Vatnajokull National Park. Many interesting lectures attended and the guests of the conference got insight to the world of the National Park. Further information about the National Park can be found at its homepage.
